Family trees: search example

I knew my great grandmother had a sister, but couldn't find any information about her. Because the family had moved so much, she could have settled anywhere and could have married and changed her name. Through searching family trees, I located a limited tree with her name and based on that I was able to learn where she had settled. Once I knew the location, I was able to trace her using census records.
